This large-scale mural project transforms a full city block within the Arts District into a dynamic visual timeline of Los Angeles culture and community. Stretching across the alleyway walls of Avalon Bay’s residential development, the artwork integrates iconic references—from transit and architecture to local leisure and lifestyle—using bold color fields and stylized abstraction.

The project demonstrates how art can activate underutilized corridors, improve the pedestrian experience, and align with Avalon Bay’s commitment to placemaking. By blending cultural storytelling with contemporary design, the murals reinforce the identity of the Arts District while signaling long-term investment in creative, community-centered development.
