THE MAJESTIC
The Majestic
Tulsa, Oklahoma
The Majestic is a monumental 15,000 sq ft mural in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, transforming the façade of the Main Park Plaza garage. Commissioned as part of the Downtown Tulsa Partnership and Route 66 initiative, this artwork holds the world record for the largest augmented reality mural.
The piece weaves together magnolias, native birds, catfish, and symbolic Art Deco motifs in a sweeping panorama that honors Tulsa’s history while envisioning its future. At the center stands a golden guardian figure, flanked by two children, symbolizing protection, renewal, and resilience. Its vibrant color palette and scale transform the urban corridor into a landmark of cultural pride and civic identity.
The Majestic demonstrates the power of large-scale public art to anchor placemaking and economic development. By merging fine art with augmented reality, the project drives tourism, elevates downtown Tulsa’s brand identity, and positions the city as a national leader in innovation-driven public art.
